Heating and cooling with climate ceilings. KIGO Copper climate ceilings are now newly produced in Elgg, Zurich.

KIGO COPPER was specially developed for the thermal activation of metal cassettes in cooling and heating ceilings. The patented design features a copper sheet with a standard width of 390 mm or 590 mm, mostly perforated in a rectangular pattern. A 12 mm diameter copper tube is laser-welded onto the non-perforated areas, ensuring optimal contact between the tube and the sheet. The minimum distance between the tubes is 80 mm. This manufacturing and welding technique has long been used in the production of solar absorbers for glazed collectors. The special patented geometry of the sheet ensures perfect flatness after welding. The KIGO copper heat exchanger is fully glued into the metal cassette at the factory, which is usually equipped with an acoustic fleece.
